Nanofibers in Thin Film Nanocomposites

Thin Film Composite has an important role to play in water filtration system, in particular, its ability to separate ions in water. While traditional thin film composites require high pressure but giving low flux, electrospun nonwoven nanofibers have the potential to be a good supporting substrate for thin film formation which give higher flux under similar operating conditions.
