Professor Lim Chwee Teck has been elected Fellow of the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering (IAMBE)
This honor is in recognition of his distinguished contributions to and leadership in the field of medical and biological engineering at the international level. Prof Lim is also the first Singaporean to be elected to this fellowship.
Winners of the Engineering Medical Innovation Global Competition (EMedIC) 2016
In the recent EMedIC Global Competition 2016 held on 18-20 Aug 2016, three NUS Biomedical Engineering Teams stood out amongst other finalists to win the Silver and Bronze awards. Teams from all over the world, including the United States of America, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore etc, gathered at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for this competition.
IES Prestigious Engineering Achievement Awards on National Engineers Day (NED) 2016
Professor Lim Chwee Teck and his PhD students – Mr Yeo Joo Chuan and Mr Kenry - have won the award for their project titled ‘Highly Flexible and Wearable Sensors for Real-Time Healthcare Monitoring Applications' during the National Engineers Day (NED) on 23 July 2016. They also participated in TECH PLANTER Singapore 2016, a technology seed accelerator programme, held on the same day and received the JT award amidst competition with over a hundred teams.
