ADF - Workshop on Bioengineering, 1th and 12th March 2017
Asian Deans' Forum - Workshop on Bioengineering
11 and 12 March 2017
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at NUS has successfully organized the Workshop on Bioengineering 2017. The workshop is a key activity of the Asian Dean’s Forum (ADF).
About 100 audiences, including academic staff and graduate students from NUS, were actively involved in discussions with the speakers. NUS BME graduate students also presented 15 posters during the lunchtime and tea breaks, demonstrating a wide range of high quality research activities at the host institute. The Workshop also featured Round Table Discussions on Future Collaborations. About 35 faculty members from participating universities, including Prof. Mamoru Mitsuishi (Dean, School of Engineering, Univeristy of Tokyo), exchanged ideas on directions and strategies to develop and strengthen collaborations on research and education.
The Workshop was strongly supported by NUS Faculty of Engineering. For example, Prof. KC Chan (Dean) and Prof. Teo KL (Vice Dean on Research) found time in their busy schedule to interact with our guests and participants.
