My hometown is Smolensk , Russia. I obtained my Red Diploma (graduated with distinction) in applied mathematics
and mechanics from the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics (mech-mat)
at the Moscow State University , Russia.
I have received my PhD in May 2010 under the guidance of Prof. David Mumford .
